Lake Macquarie is Open

Leisure, Learning and Work Centre in Lake Macquarie

EGA has opened the doors of its new Leisure, Learning and Work Centre in Lake Macquarie
to meet the growing needs of local people with disabilities.

The Centre was officially opened at a function in September with more than 100 people including clients and their families, business and disability and community service professionals. The Centre was officially opened with the assistance of NSW Member for Lake Macquarie Greg Piper MP.

Clients and volunteers played a big role in the day including getting the centre ready for the event, preparing food and serving food while EGA’s Perform-Ability group also provided entertainment with a couple of song and dance numbers.
